Meet The Bankers:
Seamus Doyle
Senior Vice President, Commercial Lending Team Leader
My name is Seamus Doyle. I'm a senior vice president and team leader for the South Fork of Long Island.
What is your role at First National Bank LI?
First National Bank L.l. opened on the East End approximately four years ago. I've helped open the East Hampton and South Hampton branches and developed the East End market.
Describe how you helped a client grow their business?
One particular client comes to mind. He was struggling with financing and the growth of his business. I was able to help him initially with a line of credit, but more importantly, I was able to help him reach out to other professionals in the area, help them structure his business correctly. And with all our guidance, he grew the business profitably and he was in the position to hire a full-time CFO. And that business now has grown to over $35 million in revenues and is a huge success on the East End.

Why is personal banking still important in the digital world?
Personal banking is vital for the growth of a business because from the digital world you don't get the hands-on expertise from someone that has experience over many years in the business in regard to the banking needs and the growth and to be able to have back and forth feedback between each other. The key in a banking relationship is identifying the needs of the customer and being able to fit them into the products that work for him. and they're also important that also can be adapted by the bank to meet his needs.
What is a fun fact about yourself?
I'm traveling to South America and that will bring up to about 60 total of 60 countries I've traveled to over the years.
